Dr. Kenon serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for Information Technology. She is responsible for managing the department’s human resources, financial management, communications and marketing, as well as serving as a key academic and technical liaison. Dr. Kenon serves on several UTSA committees and organizations in support of student retention, community service, academic research, communications, and information technology. She also serves as a lecturer in the College of Education and Human Development. Dr. Kenon has worked in higher education in positions of instruction, leadership and management in both private and public higher education programs for over 23 years and has spent 21 of those years managing educational initiatives directly related to technology. Her current UTSA projects include working with the advising department on the Education Advisory Board launch, development and implementation of University-wide faculty and staff Office 365 training, and a global workplace handbook with Wiley Publishing. Recent conference presentations and facilitator roles include the American Education Research Association (AERA), Microsoft TechEd, the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications (TASSCC), the 2015 International Higher Education Reform Symposium in Tianjin, China, and the Association for College and University Technology Advancement (ACUTA).
