Chris Willis is the Coordinator, Learning Analytics and Assessment at DELTA, in the Office of Planning and Assessment. Chris provides leadership on the evaluation and assessment of courses and projects funded by DELTA Grants, and he partners with colleagues (e.g., instructional designers and instructional technologists) to identify assessment methods and processes based on course/project objectives. Chris manages the data collection, analysis, and reporting for sharing results showing ways in which learning technologies, pedagogy, and teaching best practices support and improve student success, and he provides training, guidance and support for effective integration and use of the digital survey artifacts in evaluating and/or assessing the design of teaching practices, media, learning activities, etc. in DE and blended courses. His current focus also involves helping to build a Learning Analytics Processor to identify students at risk of failing a course.

Chris graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Psychology. He has a Master’s in Public Administration and an M.A. in Survey Research from the University of Connecticut, as well as a Master’s in Education concentrating in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
