Anthony Ratcliff is an Assistant Professor of Pan African Studies at California State University, Northridge. He completed his PhD in 2009 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the W.E.B. Du Bois Department of African-American Studies. His research interests include Black cultural studies, the intersection of digital technology, race, gender, sexuality, and class in Hip-Hop production and consumption, and digitizing the African Diaspora. His scholarship has appeared in a number of locations, including the Journal of Pan African Studies, the International Journal of Africana Studies, the Black Scholar and elsewhere. He is currently completing a book manuscript that explores the role of radical print and media culture in 20th Century Pan African social movements.
