Dr. Sheri Williams holds a doctorate in educational psychology from Oklahoma State University. Post-doctoral certificate in the executive school leadership program at the University of Colorado. Successful experience as superintendent of the 14th largest school district in New Mexico and as superintendent of a small rural district in Colorado. Seven years as a public school and college teacher and 24 continuous years as a public school and district administrator. Extensive record of presentations and publications in practitioner journals. Recognitions include awards for instructional leadership, fiscal and operational management, and outstanding college teaching and community leadership. Scholarly interests include instructional leadership, collaborative learning, and community engagement that generates strategic interventions and program innovations which can be replicated on a large scale to improve the quality of teaching and learning in New Mexico’s diverse communities.
