Gesture-Based Computing Uses $1 Lycra Gloves

A pair of MIT graduate systems have created a gesture-based interaction system using off the shelf computer cameras and a pair of Lyvra gloves that would cost $1 to produce. The gloves are covered with patches of various colors, that when moved in front of the camera can be matched to a database dof gestures that can be interpreted as commands.
