Engaging the Disengaged

CDB Barkley (aka Alan Levine) : Oct 20, 2006 10:03pm

The last session for the SLATENIGHT day at NMC Campus highlighted the efforts of educators Heidi TeeCee and Danielle Damone, who in real life provide instructional design support for faculty and students at Seton Hall University.

In Engaging the Disengaged: Using SL to Revitalize the Undergraduate Classroom, they shared their experiences bringing a class of students for a psychology class into Second Life for activities in virtual team building.

Hello. I’m writing a paper on educational projects in Second Life. I was just wondering what the students thought about the experience in SL. Did they learn more through the virtual environment? Thanks a lot. -Kelly
