Franklin University
Mission Statement
Franklin University is a student-centered, independent institution of lifelong higher education, working in partnership with central Ohio’s business and professional community in a global context. The University provides undergraduate and graduate students, who often
work full or part time, both the breadth of knowledge and the career-focused applications required of a balanced education.
Philosophy
Since 1902, Franklin University has been a pioneer in meeting the needs of adult students who have the ambition to continue their education in combination with other responsibilities.
Early in 2001, Franklin formally documented a set of seven Guiding Principles to guide our decision-making process. Using these principles as our beacon, Franklin’s faculty and staff are continually changing and adding value to the lives of adult students through a non-traditional, high-quality educational experience.
