2007 Adobe Design Achievement Awards
The Adobe® Design Achievement Awards celebrate student achievement
reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative
arts. The competition — which showcases individual and group projects
created with industry-leading Adobe creative software — honors the most
talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers,
illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, and computer artists from
the world's top institutions of higher education.
International prestige and valuable prizes
The 2007 Adobe Design Achievement Awards competition is open to
students at post-secondary institutions in 30 countries throughout the
world. First-place winning entries will receive US$5,000, a trip to
attend the awards ceremony, valuable Adobe software products, and
studio tours.
Official Rules
The contest is open to students enrolled in visual arts programs at
accredited institutions of higher education in the United States,
Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Croatia,
Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland,
Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway,
Portugal, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan,
and Turkey. Projects must be original works created primarily with
Adobe or Macromedia software.
Categories
Individuals and groups may enter projects in the following categories:
Animation, Digital Illustration, Digital Photography, Environmental
Graphics and Packaging, Interactive and Web Design, Live Action, Motion
Graphics, Print Design Multi-Page, and Print Design Single Page.
Prizes
First-place individual winners will receive US$5,000, airfare and hotel
accommodations in San Francisco, a total of seven Adobe or Macromedia
software products of their choice, and more. First-place group winners
will receive US$5,000 (to be split among designated team members);
airfare and hotel accommodations for the designated team leader; either
Adobe Creative Suite® 2.3 Premium, Macromedia® Studio 8, or Adobe
Production Studio Premium software for each designated team member; and
more. Other individual finalists and the designated leaders of groups
that are finalists will receive airfare and hotel accommodations in San
Francisco, software, and more.
