Mac Lockdown for Kiosk Use

Does anyone have experience with "locking down" a Mac so that users can only access a browser and Quicktime player? We are considering using Macs for streaming video viewing stations in the library, but need to restrict patron's access to any other programs or parts of the system.

It might be able to do this for you. I have not looked into it in great
detail but seems to be able to do what you want. Let me if it works for
you. I am sure there are other apps out there that can do this, but this
one seems particularly user friendly for configuring and managing.

Radford University Mac Users Wiki
The RU Mac Users Wiki went online spring 2006, and was developed by the Radford University Technology in Learning Center as a community resource for Mac users on campus. It was built using the MediaWiki engine (i.e., Wikipedia) by TLC Assistant Director Charley Cosmato, and in the time since content has grown exponentially as a result of member contributions.
Even though this wiki is designed with our campus community in mind, anyone can join, use and contribute to it. Users can find help on topics including OS X apps, iLife, Final Cut Pro, Mac maintenance and iPods by either browsing 'Useful Docs' or searching by topic.
