About the Conference


The theme of the Online Conference on Social Computing will be the application of Social Computing constructs, tools, and theory to educational contexts, specifically within higher education.

The conference will feature fifteen 20-30-minute sessions. In addition to the three keynote sessions described above, the conference also includes 7 featured sessions on topics such as hybrid learning, the achieving fairnesss, social computing applied to the sciences, tools and techniques, and four outstanding case studies.

Each will be accompanied by a "live/interactive" component, a "presentation-on-demand" component, and a vibrant threaded discussion that will expand on and illuminate the topic
