The 2007 NMC Directors' Meeting will be held March 7 - 8, 2007, in Denver, Colorado. This year, the event will be at the Grand Hyatt Denver Hotel.

Discussion Topics
The 2007 NMC Directors Meeting will focus discussions around three themes: an NMC Business Meeting; the 2007 Horizon Report; and the New Scholarship Initiative.

• NMC Business Meeting. In this segment of the meeting, we'll unveil our new website, review the recent survey of members, take a look at new NMC member services and the initiatives that drive our work at NMC, and provide a preview of the coming year.
• The 2007 Horizon Report. This year's report was produced entirely in virtual environments, and the process was illuminating. We'll share the backstory, share perspectives on the six technologies highlighted - and those that were not - and explore ways in which you might pursue similar activities on your campuses. We'll also share the preliminary results from our effort to create an NMC members' research agenda around these topics.
• The New Scholarship Initiative. The NMC is looking for ways we can expand activities related to the New Scholarship Initiative launched this past fall at the Regional Conference held at Trinity University. In this discussion, we'll frame some of the ways we are beginning to think about this topic. Learn how your organization can become involved and share your perspectives on the kinds of things that would be most helpful back home at your institution.
