Getting Started in Second Life

This session is an introductory hands-on workshop which has been designed for anyone interested in the idea of using the virtual world Second Life for education but hesitant about the learning curve. Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will leave able to use their new Second Life avatar and to incorporate Global Kids’ simple, comprehensive curriculum to continue your education. The workshop will also include a discussion of how to bring one’s institution into Second Life.
