Session Description
As part of the centennial celebrations for Mather Dance Center, professor Gary Galbraith created MDC, a celebratory dance in which the projected environment was choreographed along with the dancers. This was achieved by expanding the Pocket Virtual Worlds photographic virtual reality project from PDAs to the big screen and documenting the centers three dance studios with over 18,000 photographs. This presentation will highlight the technical and aesthetic achievements of the project.
