Session Description
The promise of "mashups for the masses" has so far proven to be a filthy lie. What are the existing technical and cultural issues that have thusfar kept mashed up content and data on the fringes of web activity? Can we avoid the dread peril of “Frankencontent”, de-contextualized flows of information that are useful to nobody except spambloggers? This session will strive to complement the other NMC online sessions toward constructive responses to these challenges.
