Session Description
Most museums could benefit from a college's new media talent and resources. Meanwhile, students and faculty are always looking for challenging real world projects. This session presents three effective models for initiating university/museum collaborations and making them work. Participants will learn how to structure student learning opportunities in a collaboration which also meets museum goals; how a private museum and university shared staff to mutual advantage; and, how a university-based museum can engage its own campus resources.
