Session Description
In the summer of 2007, faculty proposed a radically interdisciplinary Humanities course where students would experience art, religion, science, nature, politics and traditions through the travels of three imaginary ships setting sail on the high seas of the early 17th century. Harvard’s FAS Instructional Computing Group collaborated with faculty to move the narrative from idea to an extensive and immersive online environment. Instructional technologists will describe the process, results, and evaluation of the project.
