I agree that for many educational institutions and schools the time line for adoption for virtual worlds in education may be many years out. But, 3DLearn has been pioneering this concept now for over 8 years and we have seen tremendous success with students within our 3DLearn educational environment. 3DLearn has a full-time accredited 3D distance learning school and 3D campus where students actually create immersive 3D worlds as part of their coursework. Students also attend class in our 3D campus.
