Ilene Pratt: The NMC has something they call Teacher's Buzz so educators can see what everyone's up to.
Dewey Jung: too bad the last name isn't "Bauhaus"
Corwin Carillon: hiya Ilene
Taliesin Balhaus: Thanks, Dewey. I did the best I could with Bauhaus
Dewey Jung: ilene, tell me quickly what NMC does
Ilene Pratt: You'll have to go look'em up - They are busy fostering the use of digital...whatever for teaching and learning.
Ilene Pratt: They've been big Second Life supporters when it comes to education and... my university is a member.
Dewey Jung: okay
Dewey Jung: i will look them up
Dewey Jung: so this meeting is......?
Ilene Pratt: A chance to look around at this relatively new facility.
Dewey Jung: hi CDB
Dewey Jung: cool
Corwin Carillon: hiya CDB
Dewey Jung: i am interested in facilities
CDB Barkley: Howdy folks
Dewey Jung: (for my own learning center)
Corwin Carillon: dewey, you ca look at http://www.nmc.org/about/more.shtml
Dewey Jung: thanks corwin
CDB Barkley: If you are talking about membership, etc in NMC email me alan@nmc.org
Ilene Pratt: I love SL - no zoning! You can have a learning center in your house.
Ilene Pratt: Yes, I'm Ilene Frank
Dewey Jung: well, ilene, it is zoned residential
CDB Barkley: Hi ilene
Dewey Jung: i don't aim to use it for commercial purposes
Dewey Jung: ony "informal education"
Ilene Pratt: Hi, CDB!
CDB Barkley: I'm on about a 0.5 boradband connection, so excuse me if I lag
CDB Barkley: Good morning
Ilene Pratt: Dewey, CBD Barkley and I are working on a preconference for something called the TCC Online conference.
Dewey Jung: TCC?
Khadijah Burali: Good morning, everyone
CDB Barkley: Online conference
CDB Barkley: http://tcc.kcc.hawaii.edu
Taliesin Balhaus: Good morning
Ilene Pratt: Yeah! That place!
WitchyRichy Witherspoon: Hi!
CDB Barkley: It's been around like 10+ years
Ilene Pratt: It turns out that both of us have worked with the TCC organizers for ages! Who knew?
CDB Barkley: Small world!
Dewey Jung: this is very cool
Dewey Jung: happy to be connected with you all
CDB Barkley: Likewise
Khadijah Burali: Same here.
CDB Barkley: We get a good crowd for these meetings
Khadijah Burali: I am going to use SL in my journalism class this semester. I'm always glad for teaching tips.
hardhat: Touched.
Enjay Ellison: greetings all.
Khadijah Burali: Hello Enjay
Dewey Jung: and I am going to use SL for teacher and librarian continuing education in chicago
CDB Barkley: Nice-- doing journalism in SL? reporting, etc
CDB Barkley: Wow, alot has changed here in a few weeks...
Khadijah Burali: Yes. I am trying to arrange press conferences with some of the news bureaus that are in SL
CDB Barkley: Is anyone here from Otis?
Enjay Ellison: 1/ao on
Khadijah Burali: By the way, have any of you been to the new Sim that the Congressional Democrats have set up?
CDB Barkley: I asked about doing this end of December...
Ilene Pratt: How were the Democrats doing?? I haven't been there yet.
Khadijah Burali: Yes. I thought I had missed it.
Khadijah Burali: There isn't much there yet.
Khadijah Burali: The build is nice, but you can't even get an updated list of planned events yet.
Kilgore Antelope: We play with legos a lot around here :)
Dewey Jung: everything takes time, even in sl
Khadijah Burali: But it may be worth watching for classes
Khadijah Burali: Yes, I'm sure it's quite an undertaking.
CDB Barkley: Very much so
Ilene Pratt: Maybe they'll ask SLers for opinions about Democratic policies. I've got some opinions they could have for free ;)
Dewey Jung: ilene, i'm sure you DO
CDB Barkley: How many folks are joining NMC Teachers Buzz for first time?
Belinda Brando: me
Dewey Jung: me
Taliesin Balhaus: I am

Dewey Jung: what an interesting group of people this is!!!
CDB Barkley: Porterhouse, you did much of the build here?
Porterhouse Dobbs: Yes
Porterhouse Dobbs: Paid to have fun!
Porterhouse Dobbs: Wow
Porterhouse Dobbs: You are a large groupe
Porterhouse Dobbs: I
Porterhouse Dobbs: SUe Mae
SueMaeLA Escape: hello eveyone
Corwin Carillon: hiya Sue mae
Craig Longully: How much time does it take to build something like this?
Khadijah Burali: Hello
Alexandria Knight: Hi
Enjay Ellison: Hi
Porterhouse Dobbs: Three weeks
CDB Barkley: What a great group!
Hugo Dalgleish is Online
SueMaeLA Escape: Porterhouse did most of the building
Porterhouse Dobbs: But we did a lot of revisions
SueMaeLA Escape: we collaborated
Porterhouse Dobbs: Colaboratively
SueMaeLA Escape: shall we walk through?
SueMaeLA Escape: or would you rather just ask questions here
CDB Barkley: Can you tell us first a bit about Otis?
CDB Barkley: And why you built?
SueMaeLA Escape: We built this space to use as a demonstration venue for faculty
SueMaeLA Escape: we want them to try SL and we felt they needed a space tht they would relate to
SueMaeLA Escape: We have several faculty now who plan to use SL in their classes ths spring
Craig Longully: I can see the use for that '1%' that have the skills and time, but what about the majority of faculty?
SueMaeLA Escape: We just taking one faculty at a time
SueMaeLA Escape: it's all just an experiment anywawy
Dewey Jung: can't do it any other way but one at a time
Smanning Lancaster: When you say you "built" it, how much does one need to know about programming to make that happen?
Porterhouse Dobbs: Not really much
Dewey Jung: mass adoption never works
Khadijah Burali: What kinds of things can faculty and students do here?
Troy McLuhan: In Sl, building doesn't mean programming - it means using the building tools
SueMaeLA Escape: WE'e only been in SL since summer
Porterhouse Dobbs: There is some scripting here, but all stuff I picked up for free
Dewey Jung: building is really easy in SL
SueMaeLA Escape: Porter really like the building part
Dewey Jung: like using a simple CAD program
CDB Barkley: Can you talk about the building design
Porterhouse Dobbs: Totaly
SueMaeLA Escape: so he foused on that
You cannot create objects here. The owner of this land does not allow it. Use the land tool to see land ownership.
Porterhouse Dobbs: Sue Mae, you take that
SueMaeLA Escape: The building resembles are real builig
SueMaeLA Escape: It was designed for IBM in the 1960s
Dewey Jung: where is the real bldg?
SueMaeLA Escape: remember those?
SueMaeLA Escape: to resemble a punch card
Ilene Pratt: I remember punch cards!
Dewey Jung: i do!
CDB Barkley: in high school
Alexandria Knight: Yes, me too
CDB Barkley: I used punch cards!
SueMaeLA Escape: we like to call it the crystal punch cared here because we could make it so much more transparent than in RL
Icabad Vallejo: what's the agenda today?
Webhead Link: me too (punch cards)
Jim Foxley: Don't talk about punch cards.. mmakes me feel old.
SueMaeLA Escape: what we have inside now is a gallery space
SueMaeLA Escape: we have work by faculty and students now
SueMaeLA Escape: we hope in future to have crated exhibitions
Ilene Pratt: Has anyone tried to get a class here to do critiques?
SueMaeLA Escape: maybe classes can do that
SueMaeLA Escape: out back we have a fire pit for meetings
Troy McLuhan: Can you tell us a bit about Otis College?
SueMaeLA Escape: to critque?
SueMaeLA Escape: Oits is a profession art and design college.
SueMaeLA Escape: we have majors in fine art, architecture, communications, fashion
Troy McLuhan: Wow - SL needs lots of people in those professions
SueMaeLA Escape: and interactive product desgn, toy design and digital media
CDB Barkley: Toy design! I ant to go to school!
Enjay Ellison: Do you intend to use the space mostly for display, or do you intend more active use as well?
SueMaeLA Escape: the Digital Storytelling class is the one most interested so far in SL
SueMaeLA Escape: Toy design is actually a lot like industrial design
Khadijah Burali: What kind of digital storytelling is done here?
SueMaeLA Escape: Storytelling is one of the things students really need to learn
SueMaeLA Escape: they are attracted to glitz, but it's really all about story
Khadijah Burali: As a writer, I certainly agree with that! (LOL)
SueMaeLA Escape: so there are several types of classes that work with students on it
SueMaeLA Escape: Digital stortelling is really a wrting class, but they uses the web and blogs, etc to make stories
Dewey Jung: we teach a course in that at my university too
Smanning Lancaster: But how does this environment help with that more than some other online methods?
Troy McLuhan: and using SL in the future?
Porterhouse Dobbs: One teacher is proposing that the student's avatar becomes their main character
Khadijah Burali: Perhaps we can have a discussion about our various approaches to that in another session?
Robins Hermano: We had one also, but created short movies
Taliesin Balhaus: Sorry to miss this conversation: Have an appointment in RL!
SueMaeLA Escape: I'm always fascinated by those commercials that can bring you to tears in 60 seconds!
Dewey Jung: robins, our approach too
Porterhouse Dobbs: Big baby
SueMaeLA Escape: That's storytlling!
Khadijah Burali: At my college, we have classes in interactive journalism, interactive storytelling, digital art and gaming
CDB Barkley: What a group! Shall we tour?
SueMaeLA Escape: Gaming is another possility for SL
Troy McLuhan: Okay
Craig Longully: yes
Dia Diqui: Okay
Khadijah Burali: Yes, please
Avril Scofield: yes
SueMaeLA Escape: we are working with Electriic Arts an the Sims this year
Porterhouse Dobbs: Good Idea
Khadijah Burali: Interesting!
SueMaeLA Escape: they are funding an exhibit of Otis students work in the summer with large prized
SueMaeLA Escape: so SL is not the main focus this semester
Khadijah Burali: Congratulations. Perhaps we can learn more as we tour.
SueMaeLA Escape: But when faculty see the difference, they are always more impressed with the potential here
Troy McLuhan: :)
Porterhouse Dobbs: Okay, everybody in the boat
Ilene Pratt: This is all student art work here, right?
Dewey Jung: what about badnwidth and crashing issues?
CDB Barkley: walk nicely
SueMaeLA Escape: This wall has examples of what is on exhibit in the RL gallery at Otis.
Roy Dowell: #911, 2005, acrylic on canvas
Porterhouse Dobbs: Feel free to touch the artwork
SueMaeLA Escape: the rest of the space on the first floor is faculty work.
Porterhouse Dobbs: They talk
Dewey Jung: wow, there are 39 people here!
Sheldon Forbes: Primary Urge, Prismacolor on paper
SueMaeLA Escape: are you taking pix?
Carol Caroompas: Psychedelic jungle: Are they ready to go home? 2004, acrylic on embroidery over panel.
Porterhouse Dobbs: yes
Pbear Petit: The large wood is terrific!
Michael Wright: Cowboy
Carol Caroompas: Psychedelic jungle: Are they ready to go home? 2004, acrylic on embroidery over panel.
Dewey Jung: things are rezzing VERY SLOWLY
Craig Longully: are these createed in sl or just imported images?
Carol Caroompas: Psychedelic jungle: Are they ready to go home? 2004, acrylic on embroidery over panel.
Porterhouse Dobbs: These are actual artworks
Porterhouse Dobbs: Many are for sale in the Real world
Khadijah Burali: excues me, Magda
Craig Longully: so they are scanned in?
Porterhouse Dobbs: I've wondered if we could sell digital pieces for inworld use
Troy McLuhan: Many galleries and stores sell art in SL
Robins Hermano: No reason why not
Porterhouse Dobbs: Facinating potential
Porterhouse Dobbs: lThis side of the gallery is Fine arts Alumni
Porterhouse Dobbs: Some have no attribution
Porterhouse Dobbs: Yet
Porterhouse Dobbs: A fabulous potential
Porterhouse Dobbs: Yes Magda
Porterhouse Dobbs: SL is a great place for a art School to play
Khadijah Burali: Did you have to get release forms from the artists to replicate the art here?
SueMaeLA Escape: I think when the digital media student get into SL, they will see potential to make money
Porterhouse Dobbs: All of the work here was released for use on the web
Carol Caroompas: Psychedelic jungle: Are they ready to go home? 2004, acrylic on embroidery over panel.
SueMaeLA Escape: We used art work that is already on out website
Porterhouse Dobbs: Some was brought to us by the artist themselves
Porterhouse Dobbs: If you look up, you'll see the glass floor of the upper gallery
Troy McLuhan: Some artists are beginning to create art that could only exist in SL
Porterhouse Dobbs: Not when it is used by permission like this stuff, I suspect
Khadijah Burali: That's interesting. Can you give us an example?
CDB Barkley: Yes, tryoy, especvially interactive sculptures
Catherine Chenille: I am working on a project to have RL face to face students in an art history class design exhibits in SL
Porterhouse Dobbs: Khadijan, example of what?
Porterhouse Dobbs: That sounds very interesting. How will it work?
Troy McLuhan: The SkyDancers are a great example of SL-native art
Khadijah Burali: An example of work on exhibit here that can't be created in the real world
CDB Barkley: And the math sculptures of Seifert Surface
Catherine Chenille: for ex. particular periods of art - with themes ex. DADA
Khadijah Burali: Okay, thanks.
Fashion Illustration: I want to rock your world
CDB Barkley: Check out http://ww.nmc.org/sl in the Art category
Porterhouse Dobbs: Nothing here, except the building, I suppose
Robins Hermano: Well photographic art, taking in SL comes to mind, I've seen some nice stuff exhibited, though where I can't remember
Carol Caroompas: Psychedelic jungle: Are they ready to go home? 2004, acrylic on embroidery over panel.
Porterhouse Dobbs: The toys upstairs are nothing more than toys we've collected inworld
CDB Barkley: There will be major art event Feb 2007 on NMC.... NMConnect -details coming out this week
Porterhouse Dobbs: Shall we go upstairs
Khadijah Burali: Yes, let's go upstairs.
CDB Barkley: ugh, dont like stairs!
Corwin Carillon: hiya angrybeth
Porterhouse Dobbs: This is work by undergrads
Porterhouse Dobbs: Except toys
Ambulance Mower: THey work really fast at OTIS ;)!
Fashion Campus: Downtown at the Calmart
Bella Yan: LOL
Porterhouse Dobbs: Ha ha
CDB Barkley: Where's the beachball?
SueMaeLA Escape: We left this space more open so that it would be better for meetings and classes
Lyr Lobo: Hello everyone *smiles*
Porterhouse Dobbs: The beach ball stopped working
Enjay Ellison: Hi Lyr!
Khadijah Burali: Hello Lyr
Corwin Carillon: hiya lyr
Magda Voss: are we on our way to the fire pit ?
Lyr Lobo grins
Alexandria Knight: How do you watch the video?
Lyr Lobo: fun video...
CDB Barkley: Hi Lyr
Porterhouse Dobbs: Turn on your movie control
Troy McLuhan: I can see Otis needing its own island soon. Everything they do is SOOO relevant to SL
Porterhouse Dobbs: You can set that in preferences under audio video
Catherine Chenille: cool!
Alexandria Knight: Thanks, just foudn it but am still not seeing video
Porterhouse Dobbs: Press the little triangle on the movie control
Alexandria Knight: Oh, thank you!
Robins Hermano: oops sorry
SueMaeLA Escape: There seems to be a lot of lag
Kilgore Antelope: hi lyr
Corwin Carillon: a lot of avs
Enjay Ellison: with this many people I'm not surprised
Fashion Illustration: I want to rock your world
SueMaeLA Escape: you can see this same video on the Oitis website
Khadijah Burali: Is there a maximum number of people that the sim can accommodate?
Alexandria Knight: Ok--thanks
CDB Barkley: We've had high as 70 on NMC- that's pushing it
CDB Barkley: On an owned island, you set a max
Khadijah Burali: Good to know. Thanks.
Porterhouse Dobbs: Has everyone had the chance to see the movie?
Icabad Vallejo: i see the video ok
Khadijah Burali: Yes, I saw it. Thank you.
Troy McLuhan: This sim's limit is currently set to 40
CDB Barkley: SL is not for big crowds ;-)
Webhead Link: where is the movie?
Icabad Vallejo: how big is the video, MB wise?
Smanning Lancaster: I still can't figure out the movie - how do I find it?
Porterhouse Dobbs: Shall we conclude at the beach?
Khadijah Burali: Sounds nice.
Porterhouse Dobbs: 9mb
Porterhouse Dobbs: I think
SueMaeLA Escape: i can send you a link to it on the website
Troy McLuhan: Where's the beach?
Icabad Vallejo: not bad
Icabad Vallejo: i like the music!
Porterhouse Dobbs: Follow me
Porterhouse Dobbs: Watch your step
Nadja Kaminski: hi dewey
Dewey Jung: this is quite a group, nadja
Dewey Jung: welcome
Icabad Vallejo: so by what arrangement does OTIS have property here?
Khadijah Burali: hi
Nadja Kaminski: hi everyone
Ilene Pratt: Hi Nadja!
SueMaeLA Escape: we rent land here
Nadja Kaminski: hi ilene
Dewey Jung: ilene, nadjua
Dewey Jung: nadja
Ilene Pratt: Pleased to meet you!
Icabad Vallejo: what's it cost you?
SueMaeLA Escape: we are paying $200 per year
SueMaeLA Escape: we have a collaborative management group
Khadijah Burali: That's not bad.
Nadja Kaminski: i finally got round to upload my rl pic on my profile
SueMaeLA Escape: just colleges and universities here
Dewey Jung: ilene, nadja is a student in london; ilene is a librarian at university of southern florida
Nadja Kaminski: i got a job on sl as a dancer...lol
Icabad Vallejo: well, i'll make a shameless plug for everyone who's interested to join the second life consortium of community colleges (SLC3)
Icabad Vallejo: My school JUST got our island friday after 2 months waiting, and will give the group a place there
Icabad Vallejo: would like to link all CC's, but of course all other ed. resources as well.
Porterhouse Dobbs: Kind of like a sculpture garden of avatars
Dewey Jung: icabad, what is your school
Icabad Vallejo: CPCC in charlotte
Ilene Pratt: Hi, Alexandria!
SueMaeLA Escape: The Otis video clips are located here: http://otis.edu/index.php?id=727 for anyone who wants to see them
Porterhouse Dobbs: ha, ha
Fashion Campus: Downtown at the Calmart
Nolligan Nino: have you had any coverage in the educational press regarding your work here?
SueMaeLA Escape: no coverage yet
Porterhouse Dobbs: We gave an interview
Nolligan Nino: I think it merits some coverage
Porterhouse Dobbs: Unpublished as of yet
Porterhouse Dobbs: Tanks noligan
Porterhouse Dobbs: Thanks
Khadijah Burali: Perhaps I can interest some of my journalism students who are interested in the arts.
Nolligan Nino: you're welcome - this is good work and is very much 'cutting edge' stuff
Troy McLuhan: I'm thrilled to see that Otis College is looking at SL. Every project in SL can benefit from good designers and artists
Porterhouse Dobbs: We have a creative writing Masters
Khadijah Burali: Thanks, Icabod. I will take your offer back to the people I work with.
SueMaeLA Escape: yes, i really hope that our students will get involved
SueMaeLA Escape: they could make great contributions
Porterhouse Dobbs: I'd like to see them take a look here
CDB Barkley: A very clean, elegant design
Porterhouse Dobbs: A good colaboration
Khadijah Burali: I'll put a field trip on my syllabus.'
Khadijah Burali: I wm at The Collegeof New Jersey
Porterhouse Dobbs: team
Nolligan Nino: yes there is alot of potential for creative writing
CDB Barkley: I dig the punch card design for a building!
Khadijah Burali: And I know that Khadijah was the first wife of the Mohammed
Porterhouse Dobbs: The architect was Noyes
Troy McLuhan: When it was built, punch cards probably symbolized the future
SueMaeLA Escape: this isn't exactly like our real building, but definately recognizable
Porterhouse Dobbs: And here we are
CDB Barkley: It need not be exact replicas, for sure
SueMaeLA Escape: most students have no idea about punch cards
CDB Barkley: And before that, there were "strings"
SueMaeLA Escape: we just wanted the reference to Otis
SueMaeLA Escape: it does make people feel like it IS Otis in SL
CDB Barkley: So for those here, any suggestions as to what we should do for future Teacher's Buzz Sessions?
Troy McLuhan: It's a great idea to have the familiar look of the Otis building. Other educators have said that having familiar objects and landmarks helped them convey how SL can be used
SueMaeLA Escape: I'm always interested in faculty presentations
Troy McLuhan: CDB, I'd love to have a buzz session about usind SL for digital storytelling
Khadijah Burali: Yes, please!
CDB Barkley: Yes, that would be cool
Okilele Pinkenba: Well a lot of people...
Heidi TeeCee: Yes, the Digital Storytelling would be interesting!
IBEAM Ball: porterhouse so dashing
Nolligan Nino: I agree
Porterhouse Dobbs: Hi Ibeam
CDB Barkley: I might see if we can Joe Lambert in here (Center for Digital Storytelling)
Porterhouse Dobbs: Thanks
SueMaeLA Escape: hi ibeam
SueMaeLA Escape: IBeam is one of the otis faculty members
IBEAM Ball: Hi Sue
Troy McLuhan: I think Ball State U has a digital storytelling initiative in SL as well
Enjay Ellison: I'd be interested in anything relating to environmental/exhibit/interpretive design.
Khadijah Burali: Hi IBEAM
Valentim Maverick: a ok
IBEAM Ball: Hl all
Lyr Lobo smiles in welcome
Khadijah Burali: This setting is great for storytelling in itself
IBEAM Ball: well this is Kool!!
Porterhouse Dobbs: Ibeam, love the stockings
Heidi TeeCee: I have to go ... thanks for the tour!
Dewey Jung: catherine, di you see my IMs
Lyr Lobo: bye Heidi *
Ilene Pratt: Me too - I have to go to work in Real Life. Thanks for the tour!
Ambulance Mower: How do you tell a story in SL?
Ambulance Mower: /mg suspend
Bella Yan: Thanks - it was fun getting to see what you're doing
SueMaeLA Escape: thanks for coming
Porterhouse Dobbs: Glad you could make the time
Troy McLuhan: There are lots of ways to tell a story in SL - hence the need to have a whole buzz session to discuss :)
SueMaeLA Escape: I'm actually at home coughing my head off
CDB Barkley: Yes,
Porterhouse Dobbs: You know Sue, you can detach your head here too
CDB Barkley: Bestm Sue, you are a trooper
Corwin Carillon: thanks Sue mae for the tour esp when you're not well
Khadijah Burali: I could envision sitting around a fire like this and just brainstorming a story the way many of us did at summer camp as children.
Boston Borst: hi Tetero. I'm fine. You?
Khadijah Burali: I hope you feel better soon, Sue.
SueMaeLA Escape: thanks
CDB Barkley: Another "advantage" of SL- you can be here when sick? ;-)
Wainbrave Bernal: SueMae, can I post a pic of this on the EduIsland.org page?
Troy McLuhan: One can use full 3D animations in SL to tell a story, with sounds, lighting, particle effects...
SueMaeLA Escape: it was fun to have you all here
Boston Borst: we're building our SL campus this semester.
SueMaeLA Escape: Wainbrave, yes
Porterhouse Dobbs: Do you have land yet?
Wainbrave Bernal: thanks!
Boston Borst: i feel like it's as much work as a physical move
Catherine Chenille: Well - I am trying to be more involved w/ librarians and also working on an art history project
SueMaeLA Escape: have you all looked around this island?
Khadijah Burali: What are you incorporating in your campus, Boston?
SueMaeLA Escape: there are some interesting things
Lyr Lobo: Welcome Farley *smiles*
CDB Barkley: Indeed, alot here
SueMaeLA Escape: especially the Hawaiian volcano!
Porterhouse Dobbs: I Love that site
Boston Borst: we're going to build a library and a classroom
Khadijah Burali: Sounds lovely!
Porterhouse Dobbs: Sounds fantastic
Boston Borst: OUr campus sits around the boston common. So, we're going to recreate that space - and transform the park into an exhibition space
AngryBeth Shortbread: I'm doing a module in Interactive Presentations, looking at Digital Storytelling ... Building stuff in SL as teaching material
Troy McLuhan: Oh, wow - I'd love to see the Boston common in SL!
Boston Borst: and an exhibition space for events - a theater space I suppose
Boston Borst: we should have it up by April - I hope
Porterhouse Dobbs: Angry beth, I'd love to hear more
Lyr Lobo: yes, Troy *grins*
Wainbrave Bernal: Angry, I'd like to see that!
Porterhouse Dobbs: As it is developed
CDB Barkley: Very cool, AngryBeth!
Lyr Lobo: I would too, AngryBeth
Khadijah Burali: Yes, and the theater space, too!
AngryBeth Shortbread: part of its up over at the Port sim
SueMaeLA Escape: me too, beth
CDB Barkley: Can we sign you up for a demo?
Enjay Ellison: Interesting, AngryBeth
Lyr Lobo grins and nods
CDB Barkley wishes
Lyr Lobo: we were at the Port again yesterday....always so much to do there
Khadijah Burali: Well, I should go back to writing syllabi. This has been most interesting. Congratulations and thanks to all involved.
CDB Barkley: Thanks again, SueMae and Porterhouse for a great tour
Troy McLuhan: Cheers!
SueMaeLA Escape: thanks for coming!
CDB Barkley: 6:00 PM PST
CDB Barkley: Next NMC Buzz in 2 weeks
Enjay Ellison: yes, thank you!
Khadijah Burali: What wil the next Buzz topic be?
CDB Barkley: Details to be posted at http://www.nmc.org/sl/
CDB Barkley: We're open!
Khadijah Burali: Okay
CDB Barkley: Might be a tour or an open discussion
Wainbrave Bernal: SueM, I know you're not feeling well - but may I have a moment?
Wainbrave Bernal: after this?
SueMaeLA Escape: sure
CDB Barkley: Thanks again for coming....
CDB Barkley: If you want to explore,s ee some of the other builds here in EduIsland
Catherine Chenille: Thanks CDB
Enjay Ellison: thanks all--bye for now
Dewey Jung: thank you everyone, this was GREAT
Jim Foxley: Really GREAT
Porterhouse Dobbs: Glad to see you all
Porterhouse Dobbs: Goodbye all.
