Complete Symposium Program [1.1 Mb PDF]
The 2009 NMC Symposium on New Media and Learning, the thirteenth in the NMC’s Series of Virtual Symposia, will explore the impact of new media on teaching, learning, research, and creative expression, especially in higher education.
The annual Symposium on New Media and Learning is itself designed to allow exploration of new platforms and new technologies, and each time it is offered, the symposium venue will be adapted to use current and emerging online communication tools.
The conference will be online and take place at the NMC Conference Center in Second Life, with a web environment to watch sessions and an integrated chat for those who do not wish to participate via Second Life. Presentations will be recorded and related resources will be made available to attendees after the conference.
